The company is located on the wonderful eastern side of Etna, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level, on the border between the villages of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa. It is here that in 2014 began the hard but exciting work of recovering an olive grove and an old vineyard planted with the native varieties, Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, four hectares in all.
The absolute quality of a fine wine obtained with total respect for the environment. The use of low doses of copper and sulfur, the contribution of organic matter to the soil, through annual green manuring of legumes and grasses, and the use of pheromones to fight harmful insects constitute the basic strategy for eco-sustainable production.
The vines are trained in the espalier system, with a density of 5000 plants per hectare. The work in the vineyard is carried out manually throughout the year with meticulous attention, in compliance with agronomic techniques and following the dictates of certified ORGANIC agriculture.
